How can I book an appointment with you?You can book a free initial 20-minute telephone consultation by clicking here. The next step is an initial one hour assessment (£70, online or in-person), after which, sessions will be 50 minutes in length. You can also book this via the 'Online Booking' link above. This will provide an opportunity to assess how we might best work together. I want you to have your own unique journey of self-discovery. ​ Please note, any same day bookings will not be confirmed until you have received confirmation directly from me, either by phone or email.

What counselling qualifications do you have?I hold an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling (BACP Accredited Course). I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I have completed the accreditation process with a current of status of Counsellor/Psychotherapist. My BACP membership number is 00799280. ​

Where are the counselling rooms?I am currently able to see clients face-to-face in Olney/Bucks. I also offer online sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

What is your confidentiality policy?Confidentiality is a very important aspect of the counselling relationship. Everything that is discussed in the counselling session is kept in the strictest of confidence. In our initial assessment, I will talk you through the details within the contract and will ask you to sign it as confirmation that you have read and agree with the content. To maintain a rigorous, professional practice, and as required by the British Association of Counselling Practitioners (BACP), brief factual notes will be made after each session, anonymised, and securely stored, so that you would not be identified by these notes.

What is your cancellation policy?Cancellation of an appointment with less than 24 hours notice or failure to show will be charged the full session rate. I am however aware that unforseen circumstances may result in cancelling at short notice, and where possible I will always try to accomodate a new appointment within the same week.

Am I able to claim on my insurance for therapy sessions?I am a BACP accredited counsellor/psychotherapist. This is a requirement for many insurance companies and I can provide certification to evidence this if required. My BACP membership number is 00799280.
